A native Texan, I was born and raised in Ft Worth, and recently moved to Stephenville. My wife and I enjoy living and working in Central Texas. We have two grown children, a son, who is a computer software engineer and a graduate of ITT, Waco, and a daughter, who graduated from SWT, with a degree in environmental studies. I am proud to announce I have a new grandson, Elijah Ward!
Education
I graduated from Arlington Heights School in 1969, in Ft Worth, and Attended Junior College and TCU. I have certifications for Oil and Gas Landman, Holistic Resource Management for Organic Farm and Ranch Management, and pasture management for grass based cattle operations. I completed my Real Estate courses in 1991, and received my Brokers License in August of 2003. I have reached the designation as CCIM Candidate to continually educate me as a Commercial Real Estate Consultant, representing my clients to the fullest.
Employment
My employment has prepared me very well for work in the Real Estate field. I have worked in blue-collar positions as a machinist, construction work in home improvement, and have had corporate positions in three Texas Corporations. I became self employed in 1978 in metal building, sheet metal fabrication, construction, and excavation. Our company moved into land management in 1989, working exclusively for the Bass Companies of Fort Worth, managing undeveloped land in and around Tarrant County. From 1997 to 2002 we lived on Lake Whitney, operating a satellite office for Ford Realty Company of Stephenville. I acquired my Texas Real Estate Broker's License in August 2003. On January 1, 2004, I opened Eagle Real Estate Company in Stephenville.I acquired my Oklahoma Broker's License in March 2005.
Interests and Activities
I am proud to be an active member of the Cross Timbers Emergency Response Team as an EMT-B. I am an avid fisherman, and it helps living near some the best fishing lakes in Texas. My wife and I enjoy our gardening. We travel to New Mexico several times a year to hike and enjoy the culture and art.
